Seafoam Catalytic Converter as the Solution for Dirty Part Issue in Your Vehicle

Seafoam Catalytic Converter

Seafoam catalytic converter is a type of cleaner you can use on your vehicle. Every car out there produces exhaust gas as the result of mixture between ignited fuel and air, which is produced on the process of engine’s internal combustion. This gas is actually highly toxic and can become harmful pollutant if released on air.

Luckily, cars are equipped with catalytic converter, an item that lessens the gases’ toxicity level before they are let out from tailpipe. It contains a specific chemical reaction that allows the process to happen when converter’s metals meet with gases. However, there is a downside, which gets the converter to get dirty. This condition may occur from years of converter usage, or due to certain issue with the process of internal combustion – if the amount of mixed fuel is too high, thus making all the unburned extra fuel to damage the car’s converter.

Now, not even the best seafoam catalytic converter can help if this part of catalytic converter gets harmed. It will need replacement. However, if it’s not being damaged yet, and only dirty, you could make a big difference by cleaning it. Some people doubt the effectiveness of this type of cleaner, but in fact, they do work fine as long as you’re only dealing with dirty issue.

First thing first, you have to examine and carefully inspect if there is any loose part of catalytic converter. Check as well if it’s being clogged. If none of these problems seem to exist, then you can use seafoam catalytic converter cleaner. Put the cleaner into fuel tank (it can be diesel, petrol or hybrid type). Applying cleaner there will not only cleanse catalytic converter, but also cleanse the entire exhaust system and sensors. Keep in mind that there is no cleaner that can repair any type of mechanical faults, such as the catalytic converter being highly clogged, cracked, or even broken.

If you have applied the cleaner, but the issue still hasn’t resolved, the only way out is to remove the catalytic converter. That way you can examine it better to make sure that it’s really alright or there’s another underlying condition. Catalytic converter removing process is typically easy. It can be more challenging if the part is suited into the turbo directly. Remember to contact automotive workshop if the seafoam catalytic converter solution doesn’t work for you, and the vehicle needs further treatment.
